People will also look at the history of these things to look for certain parallels. ![]() Naturally, when times are tough for the working class and they get screwed over by the ruling class while the rich benefit from record profits, people are going to look for alternatives or just generally seek to understand why we have such an obviously flawed system. ![]() What with things the way they are in the world with the cost of living spiraling out of control in places like Britain, there are tonnes of books and authors that people should be paying attention to. Overall though it is simply tipping the iceberg of radical books that there are for people to read. I’m not even talking about how they’ve done quite well, I’m talking about the actual content of the articles here.Īfter all, I got to talk about some really great books that I’ve loved reading and recommend said books to more people, not a bad showing really. I don't think I've ever read anything else published in the US that has as much legitimate British slang in it. They did change the title in the US from "Rivers of London" to "Midnight Riot." In this first volume, the writing is heavy-handed and clumsy. I'm super excited about this series, though, for me, it had rough start. However, it does NOT suck so much to be a princeLESS! King Dad's already done the same with all his older daughters and will do so with the youngest when her turn comes. She is delightful) Unfortunately, her dad is an ass and he Fairy Tales her right up by locking her away in a tower when she's 16 so that a prince can save her and maybe inherit the kingdom. (I would have liked a whole first volume on Little Princess Adrienne.
